Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026. In short: we collect as little as possible, and our tools keep your files on your device wherever we can.

This is a template privacy policy to get you started. Review it with a professional before publishing and adapt it to your actual data practices and jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR, CCPA).

1. Our approach

Mythosh builds privacy-first tools. Wherever it is technically possible, each tool processes your content directly in your browser, which means the files and data you work with are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you give us — for example, your name, email and message when you use a contact or notify form.
  • Usage data — basic, aggregated analytics (such as page views and device type) that help us understand which tools are useful. Configure your analytics provider to anonymise IP addresses where required.
  • Cookies — minimal cookies or local storage used to remember preferences. We avoid invasive third-party tracking.

3. How we use information

  • To operate and improve the tools.
  • To respond to your messages and feature requests.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with service providers (such as hosting, email or analytics) strictly to run Mythosh, and only as needed.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal data. To make a request, email hello@mythosh.com.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
